About

Cherry Shephard accepted Christ as her personal savior and was filled with the Holyspirit in January of 1985 at the age of 12 years old in
Lakeland, Florida. As a girl she had a great passion for the word of God and to grow as a servant of the Lord. Sister Shephard served
faithfully in her local church as a teenage girl through Sunday School, youth outreach, evangelism, and intercessory prayer.
The call of evangelism opened many doors of outreach for Sister Shephard and also birthed a passion in her heart to reach people with the
love and saving power of Jesus Christ. Her evangelistic ministry has spanned from street and prison outreach, revivals, conferences,
seminars, radio evangelism, feeding the homeless, youth outreach, and much more.
Along with church ministry and outreach; Evangelist Shephard in 2001, along with her husband, birthed World Gospel Outreach Network; an
exclusive Christian Internet Radio, Television, and Web Design company that served ministries and organizations across the United States and
overseas. Evangelist Shephard continuing in her ministry of outreach; answered the call to reach children of all ages through the powerful
vehicle of education. In 2006, along with her husband, she founded a local K-12 charter school in Colorado Springs; to educate, elevate, and
empower the next generation. Evangelist Shephard currently serves as the director of Life Preparatory Academy.
In 2012, Evangelist Cherry Shephard after serving faithfully in the Church of God in Christ, first at Israelite Church of God in Christ under the
pastoralship of Bishop Roosevelt Dunn, the Colorado Jurisdictional Prelate; and serving in local and district auxiliaries, has answered the call
to pastor Remnant International Ministries. The Jurisdictional Prelate, Bishop Roosevelt Dunn and the Southern District Superintendent; Elder
Herbert Lofton has named Cherry Shephard as the first woman to be accepted into the ranks of pastoralship here in the state of Colorado in
the COGIC. During the 2012 Church of God In Christ State Worker’s Meeting in March, she was introduced to the State of Colorado
attendants as the first woman pastor to be embraced by the Colorado COGIC administration; it was a history making event. With humility and
request for much prayer, Pastor Cherry Shephard accepted the charge and is moving forward with grace to walk out the call of God on her
life. Today Pastor Cherry Shephard has embraced the pastoralship wholeheartly and is expecting a move of God that will break through
the walls of tradition and birth an authentic move of God that will ignite true revival in the region of Colorado.
Pastor Cherry Shephard is the wife of Elder Michael Shephard and has been blessed to mother six wonderful children; Shannel, Joshua,
Justin, Miracle, Michael, and Faith; which she recognizes is her first ministry. Pastor Shephard has been awarded many certificates of
recognition for her contributions to the community and the church, but her ultimate goal is to hear the Lord say, “Well done, my good and
faithful servant; enter into the rest of the Lord”. Inspiring people, changing lives, encouraging men, women, and children to fulfill their God
given destiny; is her purpose in the earth.
On July 12, 1987, the Lord released the mantle of Evangelism and she accepted her call to preach the Gospel at the age of 15 years old. With
much enthusiasm and expectation, Sister Shephard traveled as a young girl throughout Florida preaching the word of God. She traveled as
far as Rochester, New York in her teenage years proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom.
